Charles Groves was raised in Greenville, South Carolina, where he graduated from the public school system. He then attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated cum laude in 1974 with a degree in Political Science. In 1977, he received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina Law School and was admitted to the practice of law in South Carolina.
With 42 years of courtroom experience, Mr. Groves provides counsel and advice in such areas as serious personal injury, wrongful death, and business disputes. He has successfully tried cases in the upstate of South Carolina, being LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated as "AV" for many years. He has served as a member of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates.
Mr. Groves is admitted to practice before all South Carolina state courts, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
